Karukrit – the brand:
Karukrit has been among the topmost advertising groups in Eastern India with a success for almost 88 years. The largest advertising group of its kind in the region, Karukrit has made its way into tea, real estate, virtual merchandising and event management recently.
He joined his family business when he was doing an MBA. Subhasish Saha started afresh right from the bottom. This helped him to learn many things. He has nourished the company with his innovative ideas and focused targets. But, you all must be wondering as to why we are talking about a man on a women’s portal.
Sasthi Special, Mother speaks about him –
Well, today is Sasthi. In the Bengali culture, it is a big day for mothers and mothers-in-law. Celebrated on the sixth day of Shukla Paksha according to the Hindu calendar, this Sasthi is significant where mothers pray for the well being of their children. Subhasish and his mother-in-law share a strong and beautiful bonding.
His mother says, “He is very sweet and kind-hearted. Works with few NGOs which look after the underprivileged and cares for their betterment. His work for upliftment of the poor, old age people and underprivileged children really makes me proud. He is a good human being.”
Karukrit Son, Subhasish Speaks of his Mother:
Asking him about his mother, he proudly speaks, “My childhood days were awesome. Childhood is the best time of one’s life. My childhood was full of fun. Since we belong to a generation which was not so tech-savvy, so we enjoyed our childhood days to the fullest. I was a very naughty kid. Hiding behind doors and scaring people was my favourite game. My mother always accepted my tantrums. But I was given the best of her morals to be a human that I am today.”
Well, his primary focus is to maintain the glory that is associated with his brand for 88 years. Saha says, “It takes a lot of effort to maintain that position alike since our clients have many expectations from us and with this our responsibility also increases. This motivates us to work harder.”
“The world of work will never be the same again. Just as 9/11 changed how the world travels, the COVID -19 pandemic will change how we work. These changes will extend to how individuals commute, enter workplaces, interact with others, manage tasks, and more. I am worried about both my mother as they are aged. But I ensure full safety of theirs to the extent I can”, says the businessperson in a soft tone.
According to him, in the post-COVID-19 world, a young entrepreneur should make smarter business decisions and determine the priorities and focus on them. In a post-COVID-19 world, work not only has to be safe, but it also has to be ‘clean and assured.’
Women through his mind:
According to me, “Woman is already empowered globally. Today’s woman is more efficient, more organised, and responsible. We find woman talent are everywhere such as; medical, aviation, police, politics, business, legal, banking, etc. For women to gain control over resources, they must also be able to have a voice in society and in debates over violence, reproductive health, and the unpaid care work they perform.
According to me, Today’s world Women entrepreneurs can drive economic growth. Today’s woman is more challenging, more skilled, more visionary, and they are more capable are capable of converting vision into action for the good of society.”
Talking about his brand, Subasish says, “Our future plan includes expanding our business nationwide so that by the time we hit a century the whole country can feel our presence. We are also trying to expand our brand on product and service line. We are now also coming up with sanitization facilities. Hope we can serve our clients with the best.”
